Flutter of Wings પાંખોનો ફફડાટ

Flutter of Wings

The swan of my soul feels free in flight
No right or wrong, just the light of delight
The crystal clear mind, reflects the bluish sky
The peace within my reach, I simply realize.

Awakened and aware by the nudge of the sun
The white swan smoothly flutters wide wings
He takes a leap of faith to dance and sing
The rays of hope gently pull the shiny string

In one unique way swan dedicates the verse
His wings are open to embrace the universe
A prayer to surrender gives grace to revive
The timeless trance in the space of divine

Live in the moment and forever in eternity
No past no future from here to eternity
——-
The swan is a symbol of purity and transcendence.

    4. સરયૂબહેન;
    ખુબ જ સુંદર રચના. જાણે મારા હૃદયના ભાવને કોઇએ શબ્દનો શૃંગાર પહેરાવી
    કાવ્યના ઝરણામાં વહાવ્યો હોય. ધન્યવાદ એ પરમશક્તિનો જેને ચારે હાથ આપની
    ઉપર વર્ષા કરી છે.
    પ્રભુશ્રીના આશિષ.
    શરદ.

    Dear Saryuben,
    Lovely—touching sublime height!!
    A Hansa-the Swan also symbolizes the ATMAN going to BRAHMAN;
    Also reminds me of…
    1-hansa to ekla jase…Bhagirathiben
    2-Eko Hanso Bhuvansyas Madhye….Shwetshwatara Upanishad
3-heaven is born in you…in the arms of mother dust…..Tagore….-4-this bird gains two wings and spreads both…. Rumi

    Hello.!
Munibhai, several days back you gave some nice comments about the poem. I would like to draw your attention to the following:
The Shwetatshwatara (not Shvetashwetara) Upanishad is different from other Upanishads like Chhandogya and Bruhadaranyaka, which may support the theory of Advaita of Atman and Brahman. All Upanishads do not fall in the same categories. The Shw. Up. Is of the type leaning toward the Theism. Rishi Shwetashatara tries to synthesize the philosophies of Samkhya and yoga on one hand and indicates about the supreme and absolute authority of Rudra-Shiva. This is said to be the start of theism, rather than the nirakara Brahman.
I have not read the upanishad, but read about it in past.
So don’t know about the swan. But it might be interesting that there were NO swans in India. The word “Hamas” refers to Goose.
I think Saryuben’s poem would not fit into the philosophy of the Shw.Up. I also believe that her poem does not have to be in any category–just independent.

My brother Munibhai and shree Radhubhai, I enjoyed the very light hearted discussion.
In my poem, the first line says, “Atma Hansa,” a metahpore. My pleasure to share the comments.
Have a great flying expirience for all. Love, Saryu
