PAINTING #1 ( BY DILIP PARIKH)
A FEELING OF DEVOTION (AS SUJATA WORSHIPING BUDDHA)

PAINTING #2 : E=MC2 / CREATION (DILIP PARIKH)
(THIS WILL BE APPLICABLE TO MY ALL E=MC2 PAINTINGS).

THIS PAINTING HAS TWO ASPECTS: SCIENCE AND RELIGION (PHYSICS AND SPIRITUAL).

A. SCIENCE/PHYSICS ASPECT:

MATTER AND ENERGY ARE TWO DIFFERENT STATES OF THE SAME THING (EINSTEIN : E = MC2).

“THERE WAS A TIME CALLED THE ‘BIG BANG’ WHEN THE UNIVERSE WAS INFINITESIMALLY SMALL AND DENSE. GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE AT THE BIG BANG”. ——-  (STEPHEN HAWKINS)

THE ‘BLACK CIRCLE’ IN THE CENTER REPRESENTS A ‘BLACK HOLE’ — A SOURCE OF THE ENERGY, WHICH MANIFESTED AS THE VISIBLE UNIVERSE (SHOWN IN THE PAINTINGS AS SEVERAL GALXIES).

B. RELIGION/SPIRITUAL ASPECT:

ISHA UPNISHAD SAYS:

OM PARNAM-ADIH PURNAM-IDAM
PURNAAT PURNAM UDACYATE ————

THE LITERAL TRANSLATION IS: THAT IS INFINITE, THIS IS INFINITE. FROM THAT INFINITE THIS INFINITE COMES ——–

INFINITE MEANS LIMITLESS, TIMELESS —-NO BEGINNING, NO END.
THE LIMITLESS BRAHMAN REMAINS UNCHANGED EVEN AFTER INFINITE UNIVERSE COMES OUT OF IT. BRAHMAN IS THAT FROM WHICH EVERYTHING COMES FROM, IS SUSTAINED, AND INTO WHICH EVERYTHING GETS DISSOLVED. THE EXPERIENCE OF DUALITY IS APPARENT (UNREAL).

EVERYTHING IS NOTHING BUT THE LIMITLESS, INFINITE BRAHMAN.

SPIRITUAL SCIENCE INDICATES ALL CREATED THINGS ORIGINATE IN THE COSMIC ENERGY OF AUM —THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY MANIFESTED AS MATTER.

(DILIP PARIKH)

PAINTING #3A : E = MC2 /SATYAM, SHIVAM, SUNDARAM (DANCE)

PAINTING #3B : E = MC2 / SATYAM, SHIVAM, SUNDRAM (MUSIC) —– DILIP PARIKH

SPIRITUAL SCIENCE INDICATES ALL CREATED THINGS ORIGINATE IN THE COSMIC ENERGY OF AUM —THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY MANIFESTED AS MATTER.

SPOTNTANEOUS DANCE (MUSIC OR ANY ACTIVITY) WITHOUT THE INTERFERENCE OF ANY THOUGHT CREATES A RHYTHAMIC MOVEMENT, WHICH CAN LEAD TO HARMONY. PEACE AND SERENITY. THIS IS DYNAMIC MEDITATION AND ONENESS WITH THE UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS (BRAHMAN OR TAO OR ISHVAR …) MAY BE EXPERIENCED.

WHEN THE MIND IS TOTALLY FREE OF ALL THE OBSTACLES (A STATE OF PURE SILENCE), THEN “SATYAM” (TRUTH) IS EXPERIENCED.

“SHIVAM” MEANS ”SATYAM” (TRUTH) IN ACTION.
WHEN ONE EXPERIENCES AND LIVES “SATYAM” FROM MOMENT TO MOMENT(A WAY OF LIFE), THEN IT IS “SHIVAM”.

WHEN EVERY ACTION IS “SHIVAM” THEN THIS TOTALITY FLOWERS AS BEAUTY (THE LIFE BECOMES A FRAGRANCE), WHICH IS “SUNDRAM” (DILIP PARIKH)

PAINTING #4 : E=MC2 / TRANQUILITY (DILIP PARIKH)

THE FIRST E=MC2 PAINTING (#2), SHOWS ‘WOMAN’ AS A CREATOR. MY ALL OTHER E=MC2 PAINTINGS HAVE  TWO FACES MERGE IN ONE (PURUSH AND PRAKRITI,  INTELLIGENCE AND EMOTION OR YANG AND YIN) —-REPRESENTING ABSOLUTE AND MANIFESTED ENERGY. THE MALE IS THE CREATIVE POWER AND THE FEMALE, THE MATERNAL ELEMENT. THE CREATOR AND THE CREATION ARE NOT SEPARATE, BUT THE ONE.

SPIRITUAL SCIENCE INDICATES ALL CREATED THINGS ORIGINATE IN THE COSMIC ENERGY OF AUM —THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY MANIFESTED AS MATTER.

This is taken from meghdoot by kalidas who had described cloud as a thief who has stolen colour of lord shree krishna. I used this simile because your painting of meghdoot is serene. I liked it from my deep down. of course I came to ur blog by accident I was just searching depiction of this great book on google.
May king of kashi lord shiva bless your brush so that you can make more enchanting painting like this.
regards,
dileep k sharma

I am very fortunate to see Dilipbhai’s many pictures; but from this set, my favorite is Meghdoot (painting #10). Maybe it is because of my bias to works of Kalidas.Would like to see some more articles on spirituality and its connection with pictures. Thanks.

    Dear Dilipbhai,
I had been to this Blog before….but did not open this Section.
    Really nice Paintings !
    Congratulations !
I understand you are in Houston?
You must be painting for some time…may have a collection of them.
Did you display your Art in a Public Gallery ?
May be you had !..But if NOT..then you must !
I am not a Painter….I do not have the “ability” to make the critical review..but as you expose yourself with the “display” of your work..you come closer to others who really understand your work. This display must never be with “pride” but with humble attitude of learning more from others !
My BEST WISHES to you !
