 ઊર્મિલ સંચાર

    આવી એક ચિઠ્ઠી, મેં મોતીએ વધાવી,
    લીટીનાં  લખાણે મેં આરસી મઢાવી.
   જત કાગળ  લઈ  લખવાને બેઠી,
   તારી  યાદોને અક્ષરમાં  ગોઠવી.

 આજ  અવનીને  સાગરની  રાહ,
    લહેર આવે, આવે ને  ફરી જાય.
   રૂપ ચાંદનીને આમંત્રી બેઠી,
   તારી યાદોને રેતીમાં ગોઠવી.

 મારી  ધડકનને  પગરવની જાણ,
   નહીં ઉથાપે એ  મીઠેરી  આણ.
    કુણા કાળજામાં હઠ લઈને બેઠી,
   તારી યાદોને નયણોમાં ગોઠવી.

    સૂના  સરવરમાં  ઊર્મિલ  સંચાર,
    કાંઠે કેસુડાનો ટીખળી અણસાર.
    ખર્યાં ફૂલોને  લઈને હું બેઠી,
   તારી યાદોને વેણીમાં ગોઠવી.

મારા કેશ તારા હાથની કુમાશ, 
ઝીણી આછેરી ટીલડીની આશ.
શુભ સ્વસ્તિકને કંકુ લઈ બેઠી,
મારી યાદોને આરતીમાં ગોઠવી.

Help me Heal

This melting sky makes me cry,
O’ my beloved! In rain I’m dry.

My tears of joy and peace of my soul,
  Haven’t come back since you’re gone.

The birds sing soft, hide in the loft,
Melodies of love shyly moan.

Why this way, my heart just aches?
My fluttering feelings, I can’t catch.

I open my door and stare your way,
You come and stay, don’t stay at bay.

I can’t understand the flair of my mind,
This world around is not so kind.

I long to be yours and share my bliss,
Our hearts will heal with a sweet little kiss.
